Just A Thought comes out this Friday, August 7.

This song was written completely different than anything I’ve done before. Honestly, most of it was written in my mind while laying in bed, deep in thought… getting kicked by what can only now be described as a “4-year-old drunk octopus.”

Somewhere between trying to remember the lyrics until morning, thinking about my past, and realizing how dang lucky I am… this song slowly came together.

It’s reflective. It’s got a groove. It’s weird in all the right ways. And I’m really proud of it.

Huge thank you to everyone who’s listened to my music over the years, whether you’ve been around since the #VokabKompany days or just found B3k… means more than you know.

Crafted with intent and experimentation, this album features collaborations with @imalachiii (@boostivemusic / @vokabkompany), @televangel (Blue Sky Black Death), @ricscales , @ofier, @richardgaliguis / @suaveguitarist (@vokabkompany ), and Ryan Scott of @LaurelPublishing, each bringing their unique artistry to the project.

@saxophonist.johnavery John Avery (Steel Pulse / Vokab Kompany / @purplekiefmusic_) my partner in @breakfastjak, co-produced three tracks and lays down saxophone on half the album, adding a deep, live instrumental feel.
